How do you turn off...

...the music that you hear when you are not in a game.
That annoying orchestral music has gotten to me for the longest time (weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh wuuuuuuuuuuh wehhhhhhhhwehhhhhhhhh) and I would LOVE to be able to turn it off.
Too many songs have been ruined by me exiting a game and rejoining a chat channel.

I've never been able to figure that out. Sometimes when I join channels, it's on, sometimes it's not. I just don't know.

That music is the act 5 throne room music, and it is a bit annoying, lol. To turn it off while not in game just press ctrl+m. l just wish l knew that sooner.

actually, turning music off in game doesn't turn off the music in the channels

to turn off the music while in a game you need to go be in a game
hit esc -> options -> sound options
and lower the volume for music
