New to Ladder

I am in the middle of making my first ladder character, and since I have never played ladder before, I have a question. When is it that the ladder resets? I would hate to start a brand new character and then have the ladder reset real soon.

2. when the ladder resets all ladder chars are xfered to nl, youll need to remake them if you want to play on ladder again

From last seasons:

First ladder last for ~9-10 months
Second ladder last for ~19 months ( or one yr and 7 months )
