Reticent Drappa

Hello all,
I have recently been playing as a trap assassin, and have read almost everywhere that one should avoid putting into strength in order to get more hit points. Base strength is possible, seeing as how she is c/c and the claws I have found thus far do not require too much. She does have a torch and an anni.
I was thinking of actually putting into strength in order to equip a Crown of Ages, and a pair of shadow dancers, rather then the rare boots and shako she had been wearing.
I suppose my question is, if I were to put into strength, (she has 25 base right now, 20 dex base), would I really be missing out much for hitpoints? And, are the benefits from the CoA plausible for a trapper?
I have officially rambled ; P
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I am not too experienced with assassins thus far, thanks~!
