Small Auction [1.11 sc rwm/rrm]

I hope someone can put this stuff to good use.

IIRC, the runes for the Death came from Countess, HF running, a couple MP rushes, and 2x Puls (HFR'd) I traded for. I posted the readouts in the IFT here (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?p=5914892&highlight=Death#post5914892).

The runes in the Ali Baba came from countess. I socketed it about a year ago, so all the details are a bit fuzzy.

Auction rules:

1) Make sure you're abiding by the SPTF rules (NTPP!??!)
2) Auction closes in a week. 12-19-07 at the same time as this post (6:30 PM MST).
3) Minimum increment is two rune levels below the min bid. (e.g. Min bid on the Death is made with an Ist, so the next bidder must bid at least Ist+Um.)
4) Minimum increment in the last hour of the auction goes up to Ist on all items.
5) I can 'smash' runes to give change on bids. Ask if you need rune smashing in order to make a bid. Atm, my HFR runes are mixed with the others.
6) I may close the auction early if there's a 2 or 3 day lack of bidding.

I have a frenzy barb a level or two below the requirement to use death that was planned from before creation to use death in the offhand. I also have the runes available to make death (which I've been considering already spent) that I'm now spending to bid on this.

Yes, I want to do this. :P (I'm not quite willing to pay Vex+Gul, but I'll get pretty close.)

If nothing else, we'll get RG a better return on his investment.

Yeah, too bad that upping it by a mal instead of an um seems to have scared him off. Or maybe it's that he didn't want to redo the table to fit four runes into the bid slot... who knows.

The auction was really quite good timing on your part - I had just parked my frenzybarb like the day before you posted it waiting to get a death. I'm still hoping to scare up a colossus blade, but if I can get this one cheap enough I can juggle the rest of the equip around and maintain the same attack rate.

Yeah, the timing was luck on my part I guess. If you don't win this one, it sounds like you're gonna make your own anways, awesome! I use Grief pb/Death CB on my Frenzier. I suggest getting maximum off-weap ias (65 with Arreat's), so you can hit that 5fpa bp quicker.

And, on my Charger I can do about 23k max dmg. Double that with DS, and that's 46k in one hit! I'll have to bring him in on a Baal run sometime. :)

@All: Just so you all know, there hasn't been a drought in the bidding so I'm gonna follow my own rules, and let it run through til Wednesday.

I've already got a 5 socket eth CS, so no need, though I appreciate it. If I'm paying full price for the RW I'll probably just wait til I can find the CB. The advantages gained by using less off-weapon IAS are pretty substantial.

If I'd gotten in before the ist minimum went into effect I would have outbid the vex, but I definitely wouldn't have done vex+ist, so I'm not all that sad.
