Alright, I just obtained Diablo 2 LOD awhile ago. Ive tried making a kick-sin, and that didnt work out. So Im basically looking for a trap-sin. Im basically in it for mfing, because Ive heard that they are good for PvM. I have no main, so I cant get all the l33t equipment that guides say you need. I havent found a guide that tells you what to proceed from.

Basically, Im asking if someone can give me a guide, or some information that will help me out. Remember Im new, so I dont know much stuff about Diablo 2 LOD.

Basic build for a PvM trapper:

20 Lightning Sentry
20 Shock Web
20 Charged Bolt Sentry
20 Death Sentry

Get points in:

Mind Blast
Fade
Weapon Block
Shadow Master

Rest can go to Fire Blast.



The broke build:

Helm: Any circlet with res/str/dex/skills - Gamble or pick up stuff in runs.
Armor: Vipermagi - Dirt cheap
Amulet: +skill/+dex/+str
Weapons: x2 +3 Trap Claws - Can be bought from Anya
Belt: Bladebuckle/Goldwrap/whatever. Rares work too.
Gloves: Bloodfists are decent.
Rings: Get a raven to prevent being frozen, other one is your choice.
Boots: Sanders, rares, War Travelers, etc.


That's dirt cheap. From there, work on getting an Enigma/Torch/Anni, then you can rebuild around that.

I would say fire blast before shock web. You need some sort of alternate form of damage in hell.

death sentry is also nice, but sometimes there just aren't enough corpses around

Mmm I just use a merc/mind blast/cloak combo.


Easy to run past or kill with all that up.
