Hi

How bad is it if your lvl30 lld character reaches lvl31 by mistake?
I grushed him to hell a5 and then levelled him to level 30. Then I realized
I hadnt dont the skill/life/stat quests and I did those and he gained a level
in the process :(

Will people not let me join lld games? Should I remake?

You should remake
Alot of new choices come up at 31 and people will think you will be using them even if you say otherwise

You should just use lvl 31 items, they are godly and cheap. Beat down the puny lvl 30s :p

^Bad answer. I'll fix it for you:

You should just use lvl 31 items, they are godly and cheap. Get beat down by the puny lvl 30s :p

I see your humor, by the way panda. I'm just not sure that chaos will, and may heed your advice.

If you are just pubbing to kill some high levels then it won't matter, Use that extra level to use some of the incredibly powerful options that become available at that level.

If you are planning to duel other llds they will most probably either refuse to duel you or blame any victory on that extra level and that you are "no real lld"

Keep the char and call him a MLD instead. :wink3:

Does it take that long to rush a character to lvl 30? I mean, really. :prop:

Just curious here: What powerful options becomes available at lvl31?

depends on what char, but examples might be Rockstopper helmet, can't see many melee helms beating that. IK boots might be used instead of Sanders for some builds. Jewels can spawn with 15% IAS. Amulets and Circlets can get high allresist mods. And any build utilising a lvl 30 skill will get a boost in it's damage.

Other items that might be useful are Riphook, Cold Steel Eye, Moser's Blessed Circle.

I would guess:
Moser's Blessed Circle
Rockstopper
(rare) Amulets with "Prismatic" prefix
Possibly eth Skin of the Flayed one

And last, but definately not least: The SHAEL rune. <-- omfg self-pwnt!!!!

EDIT: Pwnt (and I even forgot about jewels of fervor)

Shael 20% Increased Attack Speed 20% Faster Hit Recovery/20% Faster Block Rate(Shields) required level: 29

hm i always thought lvl 29 is popular for lld cause you can't use lvl 30 skills.

Maybe its different from country to country or realm to realm?

Do I smell sarcasm here ? Don't underestimate it !

Here are a few examples of what's good about a Dol rune:

1. If in a weapon, the "hit causes monster to flee" will give your opponents a good excuse to run away. "The game forced me to run away, really ! Damn cheater, you have a Dol rune in your weapon, right ?"

2. It occupies a socket and does an awesome job at saving you from accidentally dropping good stuff into it.

3. Three of them can be cubed into an awesome HEL rune (that's what I actually do with them BTW) ! For Zod you need only 8.9 millions of them.

4. It cannot drop from hell HF.
