This item property seems to work like terror (or howl). Anyway terror being a curse makes me wonder if it overrides amplify damage or any other curses for that matter. I'm ok if amp dmg overrides "hit causes monster to flee" (actually that would be perfect) but not the other way around as i'm relying on amp dmg to deal with PI's. Some insight on this would really be appreciated as i gave my rogue merc a rattlecage but so far by just looking at the animation i couldn't really tell if it is overriding atma's amp dmg.

it's considered a curse and will override others as well.. ie it'll override the amp=)

Does it really? Aren't both mods on lacerators though? O_O

Yea but Lacerator has 33% ctc amp dmg vs. 50% hit causes monster to flee (not much difference) whereas rattlecage on my rogue has 40% hit causes monster to flee and my pally only has 5% ctc amp dmg from atma's (big difference). I mean with my setup i'm facing the risk of having rattlecage's chance to make monster flee overriding atma's ctc amp dmg most of the time. And i REALLY need constant amp dmg for PI's in particular and increased damage output in general. However this is a conundrum as rattlecage clearly wins the day with crowd control when i have to switch to widowmaker mainly in chaos sanctuary. Any input on this? Should i keep the rattlecage or not?

Does it really? Aren't both mods on lacerators though? O_OYea. There was some testing done as to which applied first but I don't remember the results. It was a big deal though, because the effective casting of each mod could be either 16% Amp/50% flee or 33% amp/33%flee.
