Mld WW Barb Gear

I was planning my next char as a mld ww barb. Here's the gear I was planning on using.

Grief Phase Blade
Fortitude Dusk Shroud
Arreat's
Raven Frost
Bul-Katho's
Sanctuary Troll Nest
Gores
??? (Gloves)
??? (Belt)
??? (Amulet)

3/20/20 and 100 poison damage small charms.

Difference between mid-level duels and high-level duels with that gear is what, exactly?

Fort? Lol. What're u gonna do? slap on 175 frw and go chase sorcs? Lol Enigma plz. Also, grief PB? LOL, ur done vs any smiter who sees through this and slaps on a zerk. BK? lol, slap on another raven or use a rare fcr ring. Sanctuary is only good vs FoH/Bliz/Lite/Fire/Poison, otherwise slap on ss or dual-wield. For gloves, dracs or trangs. I dont know what the mld lvl limit is, but arachs is definately a good choice for belt, dungoes for general dueling if ur lvl doesnt allow for arachs. Ammy wise, highlords for general dueling, angelic combo vs high def, or metal grid if u want. 3/20/20 aint bad, but the poison dmg charms aint that good.

Mid level duels are roughly 50 I thought. In which Grief/Fort would be a bit high. Depending on if you're going for BvB or BvC, Oath would make a nice weapon within requirements. Arach is way off, dungoes too even. Get a Perfect String of ears for BvB. Enigma is about 15 levels too high, Smackin, Angelics is good for jewelry. For armor I might recommend Toothrow for the Open Wounds, though I'm not sure if its even effective when not at high levels. You'll also want Max/AR/Life SCs/GCs. Shaftstop would be solid armor too for the PDR%. Just my 2cents

Well, this is my first character that isn't a hld, so you can cut down on the "lols" at me in gaming slang, Smakin.

Trance, my objective wasn't to get different gear. It was to get good gear at a much lower level. I apologize for not specifiying my level in the first post. When I made this post I was planning on level 59.

But, I guess I might reconsider and go for level 49. Thank you The Son of Disaster. Your advice for a successful mld barb is going to be helpful. What gloves and shield should I use for a level 49 ww barb?

At level 49, you are "officially" MLD, but you won't be competitive. If you're just pubbing, go for 59 and use Fortitude Dusk. Grief PB won't do the trick, the range is awful. Use an Eth Oath Balrog Blade. Get two of them for vs. Sorcs. Troll nest is blah, use a Hyperion for your Sanctuary.

Oh, so maybe my comments were a little offensive, but please read my whole post before verbally assaulting someone. In my previous post, I stated that I dont know the level limit of MLD, hence I recommended the best equipment I can because his lvl limit might allow him to wear such items. If a level limit was clearly stated, I'd have given much better advice.

Sorry that I'm not a pk expert, hence I dont know the level limit of LLD, MLD, HLD, clan honor, etc.

Well I'm sure level 80 (which is the requirement for the belt you recommended) wouldn't be considered mld. You don't need to be an expert at anything to know that. You just need common sense.

Then again, I left out information that was needed to give good advice in my first post.

Well, it depends on the person I guess. I thought MLD was something like 40-80, lol. If ur goal is 59, I'd use something like this:

Arreats
Cats eye
Fort DS
15% strings
Gores
Bloodfist
Ravens
Rare ring w/str/dex/ar/life/res/etc
Dual grief nagas/grief naga & sanc

max/ar/life vs melee
max/ar/frw vs zons
res/frw vs builds with alota -res

some basic ideas.
