PvM Bow Assassin

I have read the PvP Ama-sin guide at the strat compendium, but is there a PvM one out there somewhere?

This would never work in PvM. Killing each monster individually with a bow and basically only venom damage... you would be there all year. Pretty much only a PvP build, and even then, just an off shoot of the ghost to deal in certain situations.

Ok, but maybe the PvP build could be modified a little for use in PvM. Consider the following...

BoS instead Venom for increased killing speed
DS & LS for even more killing speed
1pt in CoS makes this build extra safe
maybe SM for tanking

Would it really be so bad?

Why not both BoS and Venom? :rolleyes:

Widowmaker should probably be replaced for pvm anyways as widowmaker is pretty low damage. And you wouldn't have that much of a problem hitting your enemies behind you SM tank. But then, what what would be a good alternative?

9fpa glasscannon Windforce for high phys dmg? 11fpa 100% pierce Buriza for applying venom to many targets at once? Harmony to make the fastest assa around with BoS and vigor? Those builds would be dependant on a high level Shadow Master and lots of patience and good use of crowd control skills, probably Death Sentry could improve killing speed.

Still probably much slower than most comparable builds.

Well yeah, thats what im looking for. Unconventional builds that require patience and skill :grin:

BoS , Harmony , Venom , Widowmaker for duels ,Trang's gloves , Death Sentry for PvM (just 5 points).
Everything else is IAS / poison facets / walk run speed (cat's eye ,Aldur's boots)

p.s. for tanks ,get an act 3 frost merc + shadow master with synergies + a valkyrie from harmony.

p.p.s. I've done the above.It requires extreme patience ,but it's fun when people do the "OMGWTF" when they see your character.
