Stolen Key?

Came to log on my account after a few days and it says it is in use by me.Now I have had situations where this has happened where Im disconnected or something but never after several days of not playing(and I have attempted again after 5 mins).My accounts are ok as I have another CD key.What to do?

My only suggestion is to report it to blizzard. Not sure how much they can do, though.

If you report it to blizzard with evidence (like your cd case) they will replace it with a new key

if your key is in use by you or the name you used when you installed d2, its probably you

check the task manager and end game.exe or diabloii.exe (or restart your computer)

then try again

Thankyou that fixed the problem(just ended task and I could log in).Ill have to remember that its just never happened that I can recall.:smiley:

Rebooting the computer would have done the same thing. You didn't restart the computer at any point during those several days you were unable to connect? :shocked:

If you share your game in a program like limewire or any other download program, ppl can just download a part of the game an steal your keys...
