Quick Mana Burn Question

So I just got my barb to 76 & put on the full IK set. He's kickin...behind...all through hell. My only concern is mana burners...I get hit -> no more mana -> no more ww -> no more leach. So I was thinking about a solution for this & thought of "%dmg goes to mana".

So my question is:
Is mana burn applied BEFORE or AFTER %dmg goes to mana??? If it is before like I'm hoping then will I go to 0 mana and then gain mana according to the %dmg to mana mod???

I'm hoping this will let me get mana burned, then recover mana from the dmg I just took, allowing me to ww even while getting hit by mana burners.

Unfortunately, dmg% goes to mana is applied before mana burn, so it offers no protection from mana burners.

Switch to conc when you get manaburned, that defaults to the standard attack if you don't even have a chance to get the 2 mana needed. A lot of manaburners are PI as well (ghosts), but the IK set offers massive elemental damage bonuses, so even if you have no mana left for berserk, you can still damage them quite well with conc or even standard attacks.
