CB and Physical resistance

I know that CB doesn't directly depend of Physical damage of your char but i have heard that it depends of oponent's Physical resistance. So.... an Act I Zombie in Hell has 50% Physical resistance.... and i got 100% CB...... i would then have 50% CB when fighting a foe with 50% Physical resistance? How exactly does Physical resistance influence CB?

You get a 50% penalty on the life reduction of CB. So where it normally would remove 1/4 it will now only remove 1/8.

Only positive %DR affects CB BTW.

So a cursed monster with negative physical res will be affected only as a monster with zero physical resistance. The CB% doesn't change though, he'd still get his 100% chance at crushing blow just the damage output is altered.

lol i almost forgot to ask... what happens when fighting a PI monster? CB has no effect?

Indeed, CB does not work on PIs.
