Hi there,

Is there any know bug of making your items disappear when muling? It just happened for the second time to me, and i find it quite annoying.

I have a friend (roommate) who's not at home stand in the game while i enter and leave game to mule stuff over several accounts. But just when i want to pick up last items with my initial account, other char, but the items are gone.

I lost some PB's with empty sockets with this, and a Spirit 35.

For information, no one can have entered the game since it was private...

Anyone who can tell me what this is about, what do i do wrong?

All the best,

Dizzy

You do nothing wrong, after some time, items start disappearing. I believe Set and Unique items disappear after 10-15 minutes. (I don't know the exact time)

What I do know is that white and socketed (grey) items disappear faster than set/unique and rare.

I have lost an ethereal spirit crystal sword, while muling. I have also lost keys (for ubers). What I do nowadays is I mule ethereal and Keys first, and unique and set last. My most valuable items (runes, runewords, CoA and the like via a friend using the trade screen)

For more expensive items, the safest way is to trademule them (Mule with 2 characters, that trade the items via the trade screen). Basically anything you drop on the ground can disappear. If items are on the ground and the connection gets interrupted, all items that were on the ground will be gone.

Everything else will stay around for at least 1/2 an hour. If you search this forum, you should find a couple threads on this topic.
