I'm having some trouble with this, and I'm sure it is fairly simple, but this is the problem:
To find the distance AB across a river, a distance BC = 429 m is laid off on one side of the river. It is found that B = 103.6° and C = 14.6°. Find AB.
Honestly, I don't even really know where to start. The 'laid off on one side of the river' confuses me. But any help would really be appreciated, thanks.
