wierd desktop wallpaper issue

whenever i exit diablo, it changes my wallpaper to the minimize arrow (yeah the small one) and the rest of my desktop black...any idea why this is?

I actually have no ide. My computer stopped doing that 'thing' when I started playing in windowed mode, however. :)
