IK Maul: Further IAS Useless?

I'm currently working on a Fury druid and planning on equipping him with an IK Maul, along with the IK Gloves, Belt, and Boots. My question is, with what should I socket the Maul? According to one IAS calculator on the web, "Further IAS is Useless" when using the IK Maul. Should I go head and socket it with ED% jewels? Or is the calculator wrong?

You need a 15% IAS jewel in it to hit 5 frame Fury in that maul. No jewel means you're stuck with 6.

Incidentally, I'd recommend a Shael/Hel or 15%IAS/-15% req and Hel rune to loosen the massive STR requirement.

EDIT- Oh wait, my bad, rusty on my prefix/suffix stuff. Jewel with 15 IAS/ -15 Reqs can't spawn since they're both suffix, Fervor and Freedom.

When the calculator says "futher IAS useless" it means the off weap IAS, as far as I get it, it can change the ias a tiny bit, but most common it doesn't do anything. I Think that is what the calc is reffering to *** useless futher ias. If you are using the german calculator that is... Also, if you are, don't bother with the auto calculated FPA, click the button to get a popup with a table, and there you will see that it says "WIAS", that is weapon-IAS and not off weap IAS.

A simple test to show what I mean: first choose druid -> Ogre Maul change the skill to "Werewolf - Fury" and set your WW skill lvl to 20. It should tell you that your FPA is 9. Now change your IAS (not WIAS but the "ordinary" IAS) to 20. This will move you to 8 FPA and it will give you the message "Futher IAS useless" that is because the off-weap IAS can't do anything more for you. If you click to get the popup you will get a table telling you you will need 52 WIAS to get a 5 FPA and 81 WIAS (impossible on IK Maul) for a 4 FPA.

So to sum it up: just like ppl have said allready, you need 15 more IAS on the weap to get a 5 FPA, but a 4 FPA is not possible so other than that don't bother with more IAS, put something else in there, like a Hel!
