I was playing in a gmae once when I saw that in HAroogath, both Nihilathak and Anya were present. Bothe responded to clicking nad had the usual options. I though that Nihilathak dissapears when you rescue Anya.
Another time the exact opposite thing happened. Both Anya nad Nihilathak were gone from Harrogath. Anya, sure, but Nihilathak at the same time? Go figure. Bet he fortold the future and fled...

Ha! The Blizzard folks had fun with naming some characters and monsters. "Snot Wing the Witch" ... reminds me of "Wheel of Slime" on NeoPets. "Nihilathak" makes me think of the names of ancient Egyptian priests, and "nihil" keys the idea of death. Once in a while, I will click on a monster and his name will make me laugh. Fun stuff!

His name is Nihlathak though and "nihil" is the latin word for "nothing".

Both Nihlathak and Anya will be gone from when you get the quest to save her until you complete the quest.

When both are in town... dunno, maybe they made up?

I had an occurrence where Anya was both in Town and in the Frozen River.

I don't remember where Nihlathak was.

Another thing that happened was when a player remains in town, and Nilly is there, and the other goes to save any. So you have nilly in town and frozen Anya.

I went to talk to Nilly about it, and the game crashed.

I have this 1.12 Ladder

I have +10 res for normal qst, qst complete on qst tab but Anya is not in town and Nihi is! I may trudge along to see if she's still frozen lol.

dang, So I cannot access Nihilathak as no Orange Portal...Anya is still frozen!

I walked up to Frozen River, "hero Nihilathak did this to me"

I TP and Mala gives me the Potion but it does nothing!! Unlucky Anya! she owes me a crap rare!!!

I guess during the Ladder rush I managed to Glitch the quest...I'll have to make ANYA normal game and hope it resolves itself..weirdness
