So here is my situation...

I have an infinite number of HRs to spend on whatever gear I need. I basically want to make a PvP character that owns everything. I can max out gear and make it as ridiculous as need be.

I'm sure I'll get a few different opinions on this, but what is the best dueling character overall? I'm kind of clueless because I've been a magic finder ever since I've played this game. :laugh:

Vs sorbing hdin? lol its like weak smite vs hdins.
also vs anyone who got minion stack (bone necs/windies) foh wont be as effective, leaving u with weak smite again.

you know there are two types of ga*s, passive and active. pure foher is the passive, v/t the active, but still g*y

There isn't a best character for PvP. It all depends on your playing style ect.
I personally like characters that can addapt to fight anyone like a Bva. But it's all about the type of characters you enjoy playing and feel comfortable with.

Hi, may I ask which realm you are in? I have a bvc that has 290+ light resist, and a libby with 450+ light resist with 95 max stack.

Actually, infinity is a concept, not a number. It's the reason why you cannot divide it by any number. When you are in a situation where you divide or multiply by infinity, it means more work. But ignore my off topic rambling. :azn:

For pub, the best for cleaning is the Hammerdin. Dennis's guide is probably for you.

you only want the best? maybe you should ask what character does ok but is also worth playing because it gives some fun. But hey, if you just want to spam some tiny imaginary hammers then be my guest. Like there aren't enough of those already. The realm is just overflooding with hammers and smiters in pvp games.

Note: If i came to that conclusion wouldn't bonenec or windy be the best since they would have an easy time with hammers/smiters?

IMO: windies > v/t (unless v/t is real experienced) and bone necs > v/t too

bone necs are very hard for v/t idd, also pure smiters are hard (when they are light res based your foh will be useless, and their smite is stronger then yours)

v/t can't stack that much res either due all those pc skillers you need, so blizz sorc is also quite a challenge.

every char has his advantages and disadvantages...doubt there is a char that can solo everything

Why my friend, for sooth, a bearzon is the best char ever. It attacks really fast, has max block, lots of life, and can dodge all day. Plus it unshifts and looks really cool.

Which smiter variant is best dominating pub duels?

Also, has anyone ever tried that Savior/Vindicator in the guides section? Looked like it does a pretty good job at BM sorbing while still maintaining much of the pure smiter's damage. Seems like an ideal pub setup to deal with all sorts of random (even if it is a bit BM).

Some variants I've seen:

Vindicator
V/T
T/V
Dreamsmiter (low AR)
Savior/Vindicator
Crusader
