That would depend on the fcr breakpoint she's going to use and the rest of the gear.
Is there any chance you stop creating a new topic everytime you find a single lld item? If you want to use it post a full item setup. If you think it's a trophy post it in the rare item show off thread :wink3:

a usefull thread may be something i've seen elsewhere... a "is this worthwhile for lld" thread. someone posts something, then others comment, next person finds something, others comment. it's a bit different than a pc thread as you're not asking what something may be worth, but if it's worth keeping at all.
back on topic though, are you saying the fcr would devalue it or make it not useable? i guess i'm not sure what you're asking because like mike said it'd depend on where you're at bp wise... just like every ammy with fcr.

I've been thinking about a thread like this for about a week now, or at least since freefree's last thread about a single item :wink3:
Do you guys feel there is enough interest in such topics? Also, do you think we should limit ourselves to lld or just general "is this item good for pvp?" I guess lld would be a more obvious choice.

The ammy rocks socks, could only be better if it had more life/mana and dex over gold find but that reaches into the theoreticaly awesome area of items.
It's decent but nothing special.

I apologize for such threads as this, I wasn't looking for a PC but rather if the particular item was good enough for a pvp build.

I thought the main Cold skill Blizzard and or FO was timed independently of FCR, so no matter what it would take a certain amount of time... am I wrong in assuming this and fcr can make those spells go faster?

Casting the spell will go faster but the timer won't change. It's still helpfull for ice blast and teleporting though.

I think the 10% fcr is a really nice add, if you opt for 105% fcr that is. If I were to make a lvl 30 blizz soso I would go for 105% fcr. With this amulet I don't have to use magefist instead of Frostburn (me like this very much because I like a 3ES insight staff on switch). Okay I don't have to use magefist - I could use two fcr rings, but I guess we all like sojs. Okay: 2/20 circlet, 2/10 amu, viper, 35% spirit and 10% fcr belt = total 105% fcr. Another scenario: 20% fcr KILLER orb, 2/20 circlet, 2/10 amulet, viper, magefist and fcr belt.
Does that silly double-cast bug still exist? Ah well, at any rate, you'll speed up your teleports in between casts (you were going to 'port right? ^_^) and you'll also speed up the casting animation of your kill-spells, and that means you can move away more quickly, which is A Good Thing.
FCR is definately important of lld blizz sorcs for tele speed and casting animation of the blizzard itself.
It's a good amulet, there are just a lot of better ones out there.

I have to ask again, what would you say would be the godly soso ammy? Also Zangeif I think you should make an all around LLD guide, there's an lld item guide here but it's not the best.
I think these subjects would make for a great guide.
1: Common builds (just name, main skill, 2 lines of what makes them stand out)
2: Common LLD items, and where to find them.
3: Rolling charms, what ilevels to get what mods (this one I'am still planning on making, but I've been planning it for a year so you know)
4: Common Strategy's (melee versus melee, caster vs caster, melee vs caster...ect.)
After reading a few of your builds you seem to know more than average:thumbsup:
A few months ago I would have posted more of my guides, but my guild recently started their own lld forum with the top llders from every realm. We are trying to gain interest by offering our top of the line guides exclusively to members. I'll still be happy to answer specific questions, but I don't think I will be posting any more guides.
Anyway, this amulet has the right mods, they just aren't high enough.
2/10/60life/90mana would be perfect, and there are a few amulets with stats close to this on my realm. Some even have a good 5th and/or 6th mod
