Question about HOJ

for an auradin, what should we use to make HOJ? (not consider scepter here)

PB or BA? Since zeal is just anxillary attack, aura will take care of most enemy. Do we need to use pB to reach 4f? and to reach 4f, we have to give up drac, use a 20ias glove instead.

but the drawback of ba is its strength requirement. the gears of auradin don't provide many, we can count dragon + drac + maybe trek + anni+ torch... still far from 138. which means we have to put more than 25 points to strength, m i right?

so how to choose

PB!!!! Why would you use a BA? The trick is speed. PB is much faster. You can either give up the gloves, or you can get a Faith merc. For my auradin I gave up the gloves. You'll be doing such little physical damage that the LifeTap won't be an automatic bubble refiller like it is for other Zealots.

dream bone visage
maras
dragon archon plate
HoJ in a PB
dream shield (sacred targe)
draculs
verdungos
1xRaven + 1xdual leech ring
gores

merc:
eth kiras
forti
faith in a great bow (lvl 14 fanat)

the faith merc will let you use any gear you like, and still reach the last bp. Its expensive, but if you can afford dual dream + dragon + HoJ, i think its worth it. And if you get tired of auradins, make a StormRanger wielding that same bow, its tons of fun.

that this is PVM build.
go for pb all the way. quoting what your wrote, since Aura will take care of everything, why put extra point into str just to equip ba?
Also you will find with ias on HoJ and faith merc's aura, that you will reach 4frame attack easily.
In a full game it will be differnet but in my expereience 3~4 people game normal monsters just died before lifetap started. So have some leech too. (dreamer here so I used drac, dual leech ring, and SoE. damn good belt. imo best in pvm)

1. around how many points do u put in dex? since pb require 136 dex, even if 2 raven wouldn't enough for that.

2. how many points do u put in holy sheild? (I max fire/lighting res, salavtion, conviction to 25lvl, rest to HS)

since anyway we will have to add dex until 75% block, just want to have an rough idea

because of dual leech ring, only 1 raven was used. I think I statted mine like 90 dex with ST dragon.
You need such high dex anyway to equip PB anyways.

1. Enough for max block.

2. It's your call. This will also help your max block. The returns really start to deminish after level 11. You could put the rest in here. Also, skills like Cleansing, Vigor, and Redemption make great one point wonders. So you could put a few points into those.
