View Full Version : Good fortitude armor?
I'm going to make a Fortitude for my 1pt smiter and was wondering what people generally make it in? (ie what starting defense, what str req). Want to keep a good balance between str / vit, but also want to make sure I have something I can sell if I ever decide to.
Thx.

Usually Archon Plate is what people are after. From there, Scarab Husk, Wyrmhide and Dusk Shroud are also desirable because of their lower strength requirements.
My personal favourite: Boneweave. Purely because of it's looks on a Paladin. It only requires 148 str too.

Heya,
Anything that has good DEF and low STR will always sell easily and well. It's the weird ones that don't go fast. But basically any Fort is a good Fort when it comes down to it. Depends who you are selling to.
Personally, I have a thing for Barlog Skin.... but no one would trade one with 165 STR. They all want lower STR values. So keep that in mind.

what about great hauberk? not sure on the strength requirement, but it's a light armor and probably my second choice to archon plate

It's great at 118 str.
But it looks like crap.... :undecided:

Make a CoH for your 1pter, not Fort... or make both. Yesterday was the first time I didn't die while ubering (4 people in game) since I started using my CoH on my smiter.
Ya, been hearing more and more people suggest CoH over fortitude for ubers. Too bad it's so much more expensive - thoughts on whether it's worth it?

Just prebuff with Treachery and you don't need CoH

Enigma FTW? I always use it on my Hdin-turned-temporary-smiter, and never have issues. One less gear switch = more room in stash.
