i was trying to look around for a runeword order so i got online (like i am now) and went into a search mode... trying to see spirit...

i saw a advertisement for diablo 2 item store so i thought lets check it out...
to my horror... they are showing a 55% chance to block sacred targe... shouldn't it be 60%? am i seeing it wrong or they seeing it wrong

Either way, it will show 55% chance to block if the shield is viewed on a Barbarian, Amazon or Assassin. It'll say 50% if it's on a Sorc/Necro/Druid, and 60% on a Paladin.

EDIT: jozipper, what if I'm already part of the dark side, even if I haven't clicked said link?

Then I fear we've already lost you. However, its never too late to step into the light...

Anyways, I have a question along the same lines. I found a rare Akaran Rondache with an increased % block. I found it with my sorc and in her stash it shows the block rate as 55%. The AS lists base block rate for an Akaran at 45%, thats on a pally. Yet, the increased % is 10%. 45 + 10 = 55%.

How, come the block rate doesnt appear lower on my sorc? or will the block rate be even higher on a pally?
