I'm about to start Hell but worried about phys immune monsters. I don't use a bow. Lev 70 with mediocre gear.
I'm maxed out on zeal/fanat with 16 points to distribute. Should I try to max out on Conv? FOH?

Your best bet is to just get a weapon with high elemental damage (rare wands, Gimmershred, Baranar's Star, etc.). It won't kill as fast as your main weapon, but it'll get the job done.
Also, for undead physical immunes, use Sanctuary (the aura that damages undead; I might have the name mixed up with Salvation), since that sets their physical resistance to zero if it was positive. Only one point is needed for that effect.
Is this softcore/hardcore? Online or single player?

FOH kills too slow. And need too much points.
Conviction aura is nice, but not needed. I usually max both fana and conviction with pvm zealots. Gives more options and nice to have when partying with other chars.
I use conviction aura while killing immunes with elemental damage weapon and its nice aura while zealing near oblivion knights.
Couple points to conversion is nice too, gives time to kill hard monsters when couple converted are tanking. Or just converted one and run past them, converted keeps them busy for a while. Rarely used skill, its great skill, but usually zealots are so overpowered, that its not needed.
Nice and cheap runeword is Lawbringer (Amn Lem Ko)
---
20% Chance To Cast Level 15 Decrepify On Striking
Level 16-18 Sanctuary Aura When Equipped (varies)
-50% Target Defense
Adds 150-210 Fire Damage
Adds 130-180 Cold Damage
7% Life Stolen Per Hit
Slain Monsters Rest In Peace
+200-250 Defense Vs. Missile (varies)
+10 To Dexterity
75% Extra Gold From Monsters
----
Gives two different elemental damages, and decrepify removes almost all psysical immunes. You can use it near iron maiden cursing knights (fana boost too much damage, so use other aura).
That sanctuary aura is very nice when running tower in act1, you can run past those immunes. Same deal with arcane act2.
Reapers Toll uniq. thresher is another solution for act2 merc.
Check out gimmershreds, and even lacerators would work for the CTC amplify damage on them. Either one shouldn't cost more than a few perfect gems.

I just made a Lawbringer for my pally and it works great. It is also nice to run thru durance and not get attacked by the munchkins.
Hey, I'm heading into hell as a zealadin too. But I don't think my gear is up to par. I switch between a sureshrill and moonfall, some unique maces. but I'm level 69, I think I need an upgrade =/
This is my only character so far btw, so I don't really have access to all the good stuff.
+1 to lawbringer. It is a nice and cheap RW to remove/slow most PI. If you have good zeal speed (4 frame), you can consider atam ammy as well. With fast attacking you have, you trigger amp quite a bit.

azurewrath is probably ur best bet as an all around zealer weapon. GFG ele dmg for PI, superfast, +skill, +stats, and sanc aura which allows u to leech of unleechables(wraiths, skeletons, gloams, etc)
Azurewrath is good but it is only available @ lvl85 :(

I'm not sure why yet, but I was still taking quite a bit of damage with Lawbringer + IM. I had my Conviction aura on, and about 5 points in Vengeance. Dunno if you Bnet guys can do this, but this is my PI killer

With Fortitude and Fanaticism, the one-point Berserk does pretty decent dmg. Although I can't kill fast enough with it in CS. Sooner or later I get swarmed, then I'm dead cause I can't leech.
