I can't decide between the two. I'm a PvP bowazon and I like the chances on the Gores, but the mods on War also seem good. I mean I could use the 10 str so I could remove two charms. Can someone give me advice?

just out of curiosity is open wound really that effective in pvp?

use war travs.

CB and OW are not useful for the pvp zon, as both are severly reduced when applied from ranged attacks. the %DS is extremely small when compounded with your critical strike. the damage gain from the war travs will usually beat the damage gained from the gores.

slightly OT: you should never be using charms for strength. it always makes more sense to place the stats you need and then use life charms. you'll always end up with a better build that way.

Yeah, but if I put points into strength that is about 40-60 points. That seems a little steep for me. And it is only 40-60 because of some of my items/torch.

you can get 2 str on a sc, which is equal to 2 more stat points into vit, which nets you only 6 life. using that suffix mod for vita gives you 20 life per sc.

you should never use charms with stat mods unless you're under budget constraints. i don't really understand the stigma behind placing points into str.
