Res in Hell Vs Normal

I have two characters in hell one has 0 resist the second has 75 resist all.
Now I go into normal for a duel where both now have 75 resist all. Does the character that in hell has 75 resist all do better than the other one that is 0 in hell? Thanks in advance for reply’s

depends on wether they have -res or not. hell has a -100 res penalty, so your second char will have 175+res in normal and your 1st char will have exactly 100. so ya... the second one will do better against chars with -res...

yes, he will take less dmg because he got more res stacked
how more res you have, the less dmg you take ;)

vs chars that do elemental dmg ofc (like a fire sorc, trapper assa, etc)
