Here's the deal:
My friend DayDream and I were debating stuff when we came up with idea for this tournament.
Objective: See who is the first person to reach Dark Wood.
Rules:
Everyone starts out at level 1. You can only use the items you start out with.
You cannot kill any monsters on the way to Dark Wood.
You can not in any way return to town once the race has started. No use of the TP scroll, no running back.
Once you die, it's game over :p Don't revive yourself until we determine your official distance.
If no one gets to Dark Wood, whoever gets the furthest wins.
One more caveat: please turn off your maphacks. We all know people that use them, but it's not cool for this kind of game. We ask that people try to follow the path in the ground, but please just don't use it.
Entry fee: I'm thinkin 10 pgems is ok :p EDIT: DayDream wants a lower entry fee so more people will enter, I guess we'll see what happens :p
Prize: Everybody's entry fees piled together. The geniuses that thought of this event (me) gets no extra (until I win of course). So if 6 people enter, the prize is 60 pgems. Mm delicious.
