currently my javazon is using vipermagi and Valkyrie Wing helm and im gettin owned in hell. i have these items avail and i am wondering if + skills is the best way to go.
Vampire gaze-- on merc
skin of the flayed one armor---on merc
mavinas armor
mosers shield with 2 pdiamonds
obviously resists are important but should i forego the extra damage for resists?
I can currently only run LK,Frigid Highlands,and the occasional pits if i can outrun the LI monsters along the way.

Yeah, stack your resists. This may sacrifice a bit of power. Survivability is everything. If your defense is good you can easily Jab the LI along the way. And Vipermagi isn't the best choice for a Javazon, it's a caster armor.

Well it depends on what type of Javazon you have. If your ranged, PJ/LF, then Vipermagi is fine and +skills is the way to go as you should have 2 tanks to keep the monsters off of you. However if you are a melee Javazon ,CS/LS, then yes max the resists as Crowd Control said.

my main attack is LF with jab or CS on left click,I know the vipermag is a caster armor but i get the bonus of +1 skill and 23 all res,However the pit chest was kind enough to drop me a tals plate last night so im using that and a tals mask for the moment until my sorc levels enuff to use the set.

I would tell you to make one of three armors depending on what you have

Lionheart (hel lum fal) this will give you much needed stats, damage-for-leach, and res! (a great cheap armor)

Smoke ( Nef Lum) ummm... it's 50 all res for the cost of a low LUM rune and a nef that most dont even pick up! :) and then the other stuff is just nice mods for gravy.

Treachory armor ( sheal lum thul) its 45 ias which help the whole speed thing. the best mod perhaps is the chance to cast level 15 fade. When this ctc goes off it last a few mins or more. What it does is effectively give you 60 all res (even more to cold) and 15% damage reduction (half of say shaftstop!) Did I mention you also get level 15 venom too?

go Treachory armor, Tal's mask , find a tgods belt and pop on some nifty gloves like LOH, or Lavagouts, or a rare skill/stat/ias type glove.
