Weapons for PVP.

I'm kind of skeptical as to what weapons I should use for an all around barb dueler. Keep in mind it's versatile and I'd like to go up against casters and other barbs. What two axes would be the best choices and why? I've heard plenty of suggestions, just don't know exactly what I should use.

Grief+beast gives the most amount of damage. Grief+Beast is the standard set-up for a dual wielding axe barb. Its also nice to have x2 dooms on switch ,but this isn't necessary. I can't really give you the numbers to prove why Grief+beast is better. I am sure there is a post be Ce Olba somewhere explaining it.

It's really quite simple why it makes so much damage. Grief's +damage mod means the worst Griefz has better damage than a perfect EbotdZ, and then the Fanaticism aura kicks that damage into overdrive. Combine that with Deadly Strike and Crushing Blow and you're a machine.

grief+beast will beat any other 2 handed combonation in terms of damage and support mods (fana/str/OW from beast). including botd+beast and even grief+grief.

I'm thinking of using last wish PB and grief PB for a WW pvp'er would it be better to trade off the last wish for eBotCB?

Im not to keen on axes so if i can a sword user is what id like to make any ideas?

Swords will always be worse than axes but if you insist on using them the best option is 2x grief cb (grief pb if you zerk alot).

Even with the might aura 2xgriefPB are better then last wish x grief.. is there a different sword combo that i could use? or is it worth just making an axe baba?

beast=axes, so yes, maxing axe mastery is worth it.

Another question: Is it better to use Combat Mastery GCs, Warcry GCs, or filled to the max with 20 life SCs?

a mix of AR/vita gc (132/45) MAX/AR/vita gc (10/76/45) and (3/20/20) SC and of course plain 20 lifers if you cant get one of the first 3. of course it doesnt have to be perfect stats on all parameters.

idealy you want to cram your inven with 3/20/20s but if youre ladder it might be very difficult, the 2 other choices will lose out on 15 or more life but will give much more AR/no max dmg OR slightly more MAX/AR.

*some thoughts, AR will only be useful vs basicly paladin classes, hammers (who usualy dont have much def) and smiters who can stack up tp 50,000 with tap (ouch!).

*MAX, will help vs all classes but it might not be nearly as much a difference as you might think.

*of course life will help tremendously vs all.
