Oh, those people who just make you go "GUH!"

Hi everyone, I'm new here and this is my first forum, (and post).:laugh:
My character is Assault Ranger. A bowazon who specializes in off-screen sniping.:thumbsup: :grin:

Don't you just hate it when you are playing, attacking some demons from hell with other party members, and suddenly someone turns hostility on you and the next thing you know is that you got killed by that someone. Most of the time, they were fighting that same monster as you moments before.:mad:
As there are multiple dueling games, I am wondering if there ways to temporarly ban a person like that or just get your messege across. I got struck twice by this, once by someone who wanted to prey on the weaker people, (Lvl 10+ vs. Lvl 3), and another time on hell dificulty when I didn't even get to identyfy the person who killed me. I suggested tehm to go to a dueling game, but theyused prfane language, and somehow I amnaged to retreve my corpse before I had to quit or die again. Those people make me go "GUH" you %%%##$#$%#. GO TO A DUELING GAME!!!!!!!
There really should be a way to get your point across without dying or quiting.

Some people get their kicks from pk'ing people. I know I do :p

BTW, some people do it just so other people get mad at them, if it's not hardcore, who cares, just don;t worry about it and continue whatever.

Yes this is uncool, but you have to deal with it when playing non-passworded games.

Usually when someone hostile me in such games I just leave.

You don't have to recover your body in those occation unless you actually died to a monster. PvP or Pk don't get you to lose xp.

level 10 vs level 3 ?
u cant be hostiled until level 9 so if u died at level 3 then you were killed by a monster

I do find this slightly annoying. What I find even more annoying and pointless is when people hostile me and DON'T attempt to kill me. The just hostile and leave a few seconds later. What is that all about? Is that the Diablo equivalent of sticking your tongue out at somebody?

No, there's some bug that makes you exit the game sometimes when you hostile people.

If you're not up for dueling, leave when they hostile. No use playing their game if you don't want to. Make a private game, or join another public one and hope it doesn't get ruined again.

What I also like to do is reply using real world knowledge. Once I made a hostiler say "ROFL" by saying that I would duel if I got one of Larzuc's steel balls inside of tubes that hold explosive powders. (e.g.- guns). Got a good laugh and non hostility out of the guy. That was a funny moment.:jig: :laugh: :grin: :cool:
