Where to level in mid 60s?

My sorc is now lvl 63.
I checked Arreast Summit, and it says that the monsters I am meeting in ActIV Nightmare are all about 5 or 7 levels lower than she (lvl 55-58).
On Arreat Summit, it says that I get an experience penalty when fighting monsters lower than my current level.

My current level in Mlvl, apparently, is in Act1 Hell.

I suppose I could take on Diablo and run through A5 and into Hell, but people have warned me, and most people say they stick to Nightmare through level 80.
But then arent you like 30 levels above the monsters? How do you gain experience with that penalty? And isnt Hell REALLY hard for a sorc, since almost everything is immune to something?

Do nm baal runs til 70 I think. Then do hell baal runs til it starts to get tedious (lvl 90 and above)

Are you in single player? If so, if you enter on the chat line the command /players#, where number goes up to 8, you will get more experience from monsters the higher number you pick, and better loot too. You will generally but not always kill slower, but in the right areas you can find your leveling is still pretty fast. And you can get much more and better loot.

Note too that I found Act 5 was a huge jump up in difficulty from Act 4 in Nightmare. And Hell Act 1 is a big jump up from that. I'm struggling there now at 75 whereas I breezed through *most* of Nightmare, but not all, playing at a high players number like /players8. So you may want to gain some levels and perhaps redo some especially good areas at a higher /players level to get some levels and get used to the tougher levels ahead.

While this confirms the computations I derived from Arreat Summit, it seems somewhat difficult. I havent beaten diablo on Nightmare yet, but according to that Chart I should be in A1 Hell, while others recommend not going to hell before 80.
Just wondering where you mostly see the compromise.
I guess I will have to live with the 75% penalty...?

it really depends on your char and gear

if you can make it to nm baal without much trouble you should do ok in act1 hell

or run him a few times if you gain about 1/2 lvl on each run solo

the column on the far right is the clvl penalty, starts at lvl 71
