1. What do people mean when they say 'sharp charm' ?

2. What is a 'Lacerator Winged Axe' ? I know that a Winged Axe is an elite throwing axe, but I've never heard about 'Lacerator'. I even checked the runewords, but it's not mentioned there.

3. I don't understand this crafting thing. Everyone says crafted items are better than rares and (in some cases) better than sets/uniques. As I understand it, you take an item, a rune, perfect gem and a jewel and you get a couple of not-so-good-modes. So, I'm obviously missing something as it just doesn't seem worth the effort.

For example, I take a magical amulet, Thul rune, P Sapphire and a jewel and the modes I get are:
Hit Causes Monster To Flee (3-11)%
5% Chance To Cast Level 4 Frost Nova When Struck
Attacker Takes Damage of (3-10)

That doesn't seem better than any rare/set/unique amulet to me.

1) sharp charm is a charm with +max damage and + attack rating
2) lacerator is the unique version of a winged axe.
3) if you craft something it wil get the things that you say + another max 5 things added to it that are random. so that can make them better then uniques/rares/sets

hope this helps.:mask:

Thx. Also, where can I find a list of all those charm names (in case I run into others).

About crafting, do crafted items retain the original modes they had? For example, I have an amulet which adds +3 to light radius. After I craft it, will I still have that bonus?

Mods are rerolled when they're crafted.
