Gear on BvB(not sure wat to wear)

Alright so i need help on my bvb or bvm actually i was thinking of wearing the following gear:

Eth. Upped Arreats Face
Fortitude Archon Plate
Stormshield Ber
Gore Rider
Verdungos
Griefz
Steelrend
Angelic Ammy+2rings

Charms: Btorch,Anni and PDSCS

Plz tell me wat i should change i really need your help thank you.

You need alot of str to equip rends, so really the str added from them wont
do much for you. In contrast, Dracs str does help you to equip other items,
and OW damage in BvB is sweet.

Poison damage isn't my taste personally. I'd rather save up on small lifers or
small ar/life , max/ar/life.

lose the pdsc's, ditch all of them. poison damage is generally regarded as noob and most bvb's you face will just dope up on antidotes as soon as they see you useing heaps of poison damage. replace with ar/lifers, max/ar/lifers, b-mastery lifers or just plain 20life sc's.

ditch the AP fort, the defence just isn't up to snuff against top-end bvb's (i know, my bvb uses one and cranks 23k defence against the 'standard' 28-30+). a 1900+ def Sacred fort is the 'standard' (that and the damnable z-bug 2454def AP forts in common use on West NL). other options are an eth up'd zod toothrow (shoot for 2-2.4k defence), ebug prudence, ebug duress (but these suck as they break).

why is there a Ber in your SS? between dungo's & SS you should have 50% or close too DR anyway. replace with either a 30 maxer, 40ed/?? or some nice AR/damage/whatever jool.

up your gores.

i'll vouch the dracs idea. i like em much better than rends (i have both). rends only really shine when you have a full suite of damage charms to leverage the %ed off. even then, it only really shows in a max-damage hit. a min-damage hit is still rather pitiful and dracs offer that lovely OW and a guaranteed ~500+ damage over the 8 seconds after it procs.

and again: LOSE THE PDSC'S!!!! this is IMPORTANT. you are giving away a huge amount of Life & AR from your inventory. if you want 'poison' damage, go for an Open Wounds setup (fury/dracs/gores for 101% OW is the combo i use when i'm not swinging a grief)

ok but other than the pdscs, and the ap fort with i change to sacred fort, and the steelrends to dracs is there anything else wrong bcuz ive seen BvB's use Ebotdz and not Griefz... plz explain wich is better and why.I also got a Death Cleaver(non-eth) and I had put a legit Lo in it can u also tell me if thats any good. Grief zerker gives way more damage than the eBotd, thats one of the most important keys of why using the Grief

Life/Ar sc's do indeed > Psn charms, but it never hurts to have 1 high poison damage charm. Its not essential though

only use an ebotdz if you have a 415ed ebotdz and a +340 damage griefz.(and only use it until you get a better grief)

ebotdz is only really any good if you build in the stats, but then your severly limiting weapon switches later.

basically a good griefz craps all over even a perfect ebotdz. ebotdz has a huge damage range, while a griefz is quite tight (and higher overall)

skip it. it simply won't do decent damage compared to a good griefz. if it was eth however.....

Actually, even the worst +340 Grief BA has better average dmg than perfect 415ed ebotd BA. And that's without counting in 20 DS from Grief.

That non eth Death Cleaver isnt what u want to use on a BVB. Even a ethereal one is still nothing compared to mighty Grief.
