BvC ammy choice

Is there a consensus as to which stats to look for in a BvC ammy? I'm sure its dependent on the rest of your gear.

Would something like a high fcr/dual leech ammy be useful? Ive seen some guides recommending 10fcr rings, but dont know if the ammy slot is used for something else. i've seen highlords suggested, but there has to be better crafted/rare options.

No, there isn't. 30+ DS >>>>>>>>>> any stats you could get from rare ammy.

Like what nex said, the DS offered by hls can't be beat. Plus, leech is practically useless in pvp versus anything other then wind druids.

no amulet of any colour can beat highlords wrath's 33%ish DS. the only exception i can think of is something like a crafted +20fcr +2skill /res/life/mana to try and hit the 63 fcr bp for ultra defense casters.

Yeah I run highlords wrath around 85% of the time.

with hsaru you get like 25k ar when enchanted 30+k with angelics, even these is not enough to beat a dedicated max defense smiter.

just use some 20/17 scs, with out angelics you wont even have half a chance at beating a exile using tele smiter

Smiters aside you want angelics vs hammerdins. As akuma said you use 20/17s to avoid mana problems, you should be wearing 4-5 anyway.

Using both angelics+hsarus makes a huge difference vs pallies.
