Nihlathak Sorc

Basically, I heard that the Nova Sorc was really good for Nihlathak. But it makes me wonder how safe it is. Since I play hardcore I'm not looking forward to dying and I really want to run him. So I'm thinking of going Wizardspike/Whitstan's Guard for max block and high resist. Also, I don't have a Nature's Peace, so yeah. Any chance I could make this work?

I'm curious about that too. He can kill you even from offscreen with his corpse explosion, supposedly. Half fire damage and half physical damage.

you can go cold and use glacial spike to explode the corpses

No it won't work without nature's. The safest way is making a bone necro, the bone armor seems to absorb most of the CE and even the tomb viper poison.

Well, that sucks. I can't seem to find/trade for a Nature's Peace anyway. Nobody wants to get rid of 'em, understandably.

I keep reading that natures won't work wtih elemental damage. However, it does seem to work with my light sorc. Occasionally bodies do pop, but very rare and only becuase I bring my merc with me and somtimes he gets a kill when I'm not fast enough.

I really don think I'm crazy. I may be, but if I am, then for some reason Nihl refuses to use CE on me. So what's the deal with this?

As a side note I find the vipers to be a much bigger threat than the CE.
