hy!

i was thinking if a good build woulb be a barb with two ribcracker staves?

can barb dual-wield staves?

ribcrackers would give him awesome damage if upped eth and if they both have more than 250 ED. he would have 100% crushing blow, 100% IAS, 200% enhanced defense and 100% hit recovery plus 100% damage to undead ! that's awesome.

what do you barbs think of this build ?

a single up'd ribcracker is a pretty gosu PvM weapon.

... but not necessarily for a Barb I think. You may as well go for dual weapons then and get a few extra frames (with double swing / frenzy). Ribby is great for shapeshifters though.

First you can't dual wield staffs as mentioned by above

2nd even if you can, you wont get 100% cb/ ias/ because they are calculated separtely (means that there is 50% of chance to get a cb on each weapon)

its rather the odd you can wield 2 blades the size of a necromancer's torso yet you cant dual wield little tree branches.

Even if its not the best choice an upgraded ribcracker with mace mastery barb is highly viable.

Mace mastery isn't mace mastery really :smiley: It should be called 'blunt weapons mastery', everything that has +50% dmg to undead (maces, hammers, staves, wands) benefits from it.

It appears to be that it works yes. However, i once build a barb built around upped ribby, and I didn"t put a point in mace mastery, and it worked rather well, so it'll be definnately (spelling) be viable. I went berserk, got bored with berserk and maxed ww too since i had too many points. This was at the beginning of the ladder, and it was superfun to duel with. nobody (or maybe a few) had those superexpensive runewords, and it worked surprisingly well in public duells. If there wasn't an ebay-hammerdin in the game, i cleared them. Don't think it'll be possible right now however :).
