With two 5/5 facets this can end up doing more damage than any unique/runeword. The FCR isn't great but shouldn't be a problem if you only go for 105%.

Any opinions on this?

What realm are you on?

It could get better, but its still really nice, and theres some mass style points for using a rare orb.

Probably hoto would still be better for the +mana%, but still, style points (and also if you're pressed for space in stashed gear...).

It does do more raw damage than Hoto and the extra mana is multiplied by SOJs and such. Still probably ends up much lower than Hoto's bonus though.
