Well I've only recently beaten Baal in Hell, and i've been looking to getting all of my end game gear, at the moment i'm settling with a reasonable set up, which provides me with around 160 MF, I was hoping to aim closer towards 250+ MF, but i'm not sure I could kill at a good speed. Also trying to find the gear for MF'ing may take longer then my end game gear itself. So I was just wondering what would be best for me to trade out, would I still survive, and kill at a reasonable speed.

My current set up as it stands is:

Harlequin Crest (With a perfect topaz)
Skin of the Vipermaji (34 all resist)
The Oculus
Spirit (Monarch)
Verdungo's Hearty Coil
Waterwalk
Frostburn
Raven Frost/The stone of Jordan
Tal Rasha's Adjucation

I've looked at 2 different meteorb guides, and seen the different equipment set ups, my set up is based on the gear i've found, for example Nightsmoke was 3rd on the list, so I upped it and used that, then I found Verdungo's which was 2nd, so I switched out Nightsmoke and I'm aiming for Arachnid Mesh. I'm completely self found, and I don't trade for items. I'm just looking to maximise my MF without increasing the risk of dieing too greatly, or sacrafising alot of kill speed.

I'm level 88, I can take on anywhere in the game with reasonable ease, and I'm willing to. Also I'd appreciate a good place in which a meteorb really shines in MF'ing, I've seen its versatility, but I'd like to see if it can specilise.
Finally my inventory is full with resistance charms, 1 fire skiller and gheeds. I can get 76/75/75/75 resistances, I have a cube for carrying space, which is a little tedious.

Edit: I'm version 1.11 Expansion and I use ATMA/RRM and RWM. Softcore and Single Player.

It might be a little difficult to find if you're not trading, but if you can get it, the three-piece Tal Rasha partial set bonus is great. The nice thing about Tal's set is that it's very well rounded - good skills, defense, mana, life, dex, resists, and 15 MDR. The setup I'm looking at in ladder is:

Harlequin Crest Ptopaz (74)
Oculus (50)
Moser's Blessed Circle
Tal's Amulet (partial set bonus 65)
Tal's Armor (112)
Tal's Belt (15)
and then whatever boot/belts/rings/amulet you want.

The Mosers is mostly a concession to the realities of needing resists in Hell; I built my Meteorb sorc with dex for max block, and Moser's is a great blocking shield and has huge resists with 2 PDiamonds. If you have enough charms and stuff, you can swap that out for even more MF. But as it stands, 74 + 50 + 112 + 65 + 15 = 296mf. Find a decent pair of Chance Guards and maybe slap on a Nagelring, add that to your charms (Gheeds and mfscs) and you're well on your way to 400% with little decrease in killing power or survivability.

Of course, Tal Rasha's armor is pretty hard to find to begin with, but if you can get lucky...

I covet the Tal Rasha set more than anything in the world of Diablo. I already have the ammy and the mask, but I think I'll be waiting a long time before I'm able to find the rest of it.

So in the meantime, I'm trying to find a 4-socket armor so I can throw some perfect topazes in there for MF. I have two Nagelrings (one with 15% MF and one with 17% MF), a +35% MF ammy, Chance Guard gloves with +38% MF, Goldwrap belt with +30% MF, and some rare boots with +10% MF. Barely adequate, but it'll have to do for now.
