148 attack rating

is it possible to get this much AR on a rare ring? i assumed the highest was 120 and arreat confirms it but i recently found a 148 AR RARE ring and thought it was rather odd.

It is possible if you get the Platinum prefix (+101-120 to Attack Rating) and the Radiance suffix (+3 to Light Radius, +30 To Attack Rating). In your case, it sounds like you got +118 AR from the Platinum prefix, and then +30 from the Radiance suffix, which equals 148.

Does your ring have +3 light radius?
