This kind of Q has been asked many times before but i need to know if it's worth my while!
If i am lucky, my new 8-meg connection will go live tonight and as Europe is probably the most dead realm for friendly, serious, non-cheating HC players (outside of KTA of course!) i was thinking of coming over to East or West to see what it's like...is the scene big? Are pubs just as dangerous there as they are in Europe? Info please all you US players!

Everything that is in Euro is on East....... I think you are aware there is a decent group of ppl on East its just a matter of getting mingled in and being on when they are. Cant ever be any promises made really.....

You're 5 hours ahead (minimum) so when those of us on the East Coast play from around 7pm-2am, thats 12am-7am GMT. If those hours appeal to you, by all means feel free to join us. The problem is that there aren't really many people online during the daytime.
Everyone seems to be very nice and helpful. If you talk it up a bit here first (as you're doing), you'll see that East is always looking for more bodies.
I wouldn't call it big by any means. :tongue:
Ya, during you're prime gaming times you'd be playing with the East gamers who are on in the middle of the day (Sara, Dave, a few others) but you'll miss out on the vast majority of East, who primarily game late at night.

Thx for the response guys, it sounds like i would only manage to get in on a bit of the action due to the time difference so it's probably not the best idea...i have been absent without warning to the 10 mates i have on EuHC due to i-net breaking down and moving gaff so if i log back in and find they are all gone i'll make the move anyway and just see what i find...thanks again!

i play west. I from uk but ive always played west for the 5 years ive been playing. I did play a haxor duped rune charzor till it died this weekend and have started a fresh. Ive set myself a few rules. number 1 only get drops in private games by myself, i can use loader and reveal map(I dont like to lie). So yeh im kinda still taking the easy aproach but if you want to play shout me up and ill turn off the map **** while we play. Ive only got a lvl 15 zon in act2 and a barb in act2 lvl1

Just a sidenote, but I had a ping of 200+ when I was on West and I know that ppl from North America experience the same on Europe, due to the distance. Playing HC under these conditions could be tricky / deadly :smiley: .

Im trying out eu- classic hc for a bit, my funnest times last season was in classic.

That's your best speed, but the overall connection speed will only be as fast as the slowest link in the chain. By using a US realm, you're increasing the link length and therefore the chances that there might be a slower one added in.
