So, I know how to ebug armor..is it possible to ebug weapons? Also does anyone know WHY ebug ...well...ebugs?
1)no on weapons
2)no idea i just know i love 50650 kaglion def merc armors.
It's a side effect from a bug fix in 1.11... remember the problem in 1.10 where upgrading ethereal uniques messes up their def? Well they "fixed" it in 1.11, with the additional effect of this ebugging.
That's Blizzard QA for you.

What's ebugging? :PIf you add sockets to an ethereal armor (body armor, helm, shield) using the cube recipe, then the ethereal bonus will be applied twice, multiplicatively, resulting in an item with 2.25*baseDef.
As Zon2000 said, this bug was created by Blizzard's attempt to fix the 1.10 ethereal armor upgrade bug. The mistake they made was instead of just adding the ethereal bonus back into the armor upgrade recipes, they added it to all armor recipes that maintain ethereality. Since the cube socket armor recipe maintained ethereality, and already worked properly, it got an extra ethereal bonus applied to it.

So basically an 'ebugged' eth armour will have much more def than an eth armour?

50% more than a normal eth armor.
