Some of magic questions?

Recently noticed that the crafted safety shield comes with 5-10% Magic Resistance so there's been a few question that've come to mind.
Does a characters magic resistance drop based on the difficulty level of the game?
Is this crafted shield the only item in the game that grants MR%?
Which monsters use magic as there attack (succubus class creatures excepted)?
Does Anyas scroll or resist to all bump it up?
Is Magic absorb better because of the bug regarding the bonus to physical resistance it can grant?

Magic and physical resistance do not get penalized with difficulty.
Yes, it's the only MR%.
Succubii don't use magic attacks, the balls are fire and physical IIRC. OB knights using bone spirit and snakes using bone spear are all I can think of. Some enemies may have magic damage as part of their melee damage.
Anya's scroll does not affect magic or physical resist.
Never heard of a bug with magic absorb.

Is Magic absorb better because of the bug regarding the bonus to physical resistance it can grant?There is no magic absorb bug. There is an mdr bug. If an attack does both physical and elemental damage, then mdr will try to negate the elemental damage, and roll over any unused mdr to negate physical damage.

Other than the ones that have been mentioned, the missiles fired by Horror Archers sure look like Magic Arrow. I don´t know what type(s) of damage they do.
