Confused Crafter: best level to make this ammy?

Hey,

I'm starting to craft some amulets, trying to make my perfect sorc ammy. I've read the guides and posts, and I'm still a bit confused. Maybe someone has been here before and can help.

I'm looking to make:

+2 sorc or +2 Light
17%FCR or more
Prismatic or some pretty good resists

Ideally, the perfect ammy would also have +mana or +str

What level should I be, and what level should the ammy be for the best chances to craft this ammy?

for +2 sorc skills the magic level is 93. at that point all ammys gambled and then crafted by the char will have a shot at +2 class skills.

+2 lit is probably a little lower.

You need a L93 character to have a chance at crafting +2 class skills amulets from all amulets which are gambled by the same character.

1. +2 to class skills has an alvl of L90 which needs an ilvl 90 amulet (ilvl and alvl are different things BTW, but they are the same for amulets)
2. Gambling produces items with an ilvl of charlevel-5 to charlevel-4
3. Crafting produces an item with an ilvl of charlvl/2 + old_ilvl/2, rounding down before adding.

The lowest ilvl when gambling would be 88 and together with a crafter level of 93, the final ilvl is 88/2+93/2=90. At L92, the lowest gambling result would be 87 and crafting would produce one with an ilvl of 87/2+92/2=89 - not enough.
