So me and 3 of my friends, were thinking of making characters that we would play together
What is the best combination of 4 classes to get through hell?
I was thinking Frost Zealot, Fanatic Zealot, Torchadin, and the Lightning Zealot
This would cover most of the elements and we could have an infinity merc
Thats about how far i got, help is needed.
Thanks in advance

4 x hammerdins (a hammer is a melee weapon).

Just kidding, yeah I think the group you mentioned pretty much covers all the bases, although a bear barb for bo/shout/fanaticism might be a nice addition.

I'd probably go with a blizz or light sorc, a fishymancer, a barb, and zealot.
2 tanks, 1 BO, fanta for the barb and skellies, the ranged attack of the sorc, and the general usefulness of ce.
That would probably be the ideal setup I'd come up with.
Going with all the elements, while fun, wouldn't necessarily be practical. If you're looking for fun, go with 4 single auradins, otherwise I'd go with a mix of classes and phys/magic dmg.

I would go with the following

Lightning Sorc (w/out infinity)
Conviction Pally - Probably Zealer
WW Barb with Bo
Hammerdin

The conviction pally would make the sorc crazy good and the Bo would help everyone. I think this would be a pretty fun foursome to play.

How about this:

Blizzard Sorc
Fireclaws druid
Ironbarb with high BO
FOH-pala with max Conviction

-Three tankers
-Cold, Fire, Lightning and Physical
-Major life from BO and Oak
-Conviction

If you have infinity, your FOH pala can also be a Lightning Javazon.

Fishymancer
Conviction Zealer
Light Sorce
Blizz Sorce

Fishy gives meat shields, Conviction beefs em up, light sorce takes out crowds, blizz owns bosses. You don't even have to have good gear with this, you could all practically go naked- with the fishymancer, none of you will be getting hit.

And why would you ever include a hammerdin in a party? They are just stupid and over powered and add little to a party other than 1 crappy aura, they aren't party chars, they are just way too good and can function at players 8.

Any party with a conviction pala and sorc own everything... You probaly get bored after kill everything in seconds. And you dont need every element to own hell dificult...

How about this:

- a frost zealot (unresistable mass crowd control!)
- a WW barb (BO + Shout)
- a Poisonmancer (you can get some skellies or revives for help)
- a fireclaw bear or a fire elementist druid or an enchantress sorc

ok, you dont have all damage types but you dont need them all... And this look like a lot of fun to me.

If going with four Paladins, try the quartet I designed. Though they require specific (and usually expensive) gear when played alone, they're designed to be played with each other using whatever gear is found at the beginning of the season without interfering with each other. Just ask if you're interested in equipment details, but these are the ideal skill distribution and mercenary setups:

Exemplar - 20 Sacrifice/Smite/Holy Shield, 19 Fanaticism, 10 Defiance, 7 Redemption, 14 one-point wonders and prerequisites, with a Might merc wearing Pride.
Trinitar - 20 Thorns/Vengeance/Conversion, 11 Resist Fire/Cold/Lightning, 5 Salvation, 10 one-point wonders and prerequisites, with a Blessed Aim merc wearing Infinity.
Avatar - 20 Holy Bolt/Shock, 19 Fist of the Heavens, 13 Resist Lightning, 12 Cleansing, 10 Prayer, 16 one-point wonders and prerequisites, with a Prayer merc wearing Insight.
Templar (my version) - 20 Blessed Hammer/Charge/Concentrate/Vigor/Holy Shield, 10 one-point wonders and prerequisites, with a Defiance merc wearing Doom.
