Well, I like lookin at other people's Magic items, good blue ones that is, and drool...

Nice - one of the two Best Elite type Claws, 2 nice staff mods, & 2 sockets on top off a "F of A" BLUE!
Ghost Sin City! - You know someone ought to do a thread like this for whites (you might have to close it it to post runes but then that becomes runewords and this thread can't go there) and No Rare Jewels but still it would be interesting too.
I've tried to limited this one to Blues only, you can add runes and blue jewels, but no yellow jewels, as once they are in it, it becomes something for the good old "Rare Showoff Thread"

Yeah like I'm a mod LOL - if it was Blue to start with, and you can document the adds-ins in the post, (the name alone should be proof here) well I'll leave the flames to the "True Blue" Posters.
Well most of you are Cool people so it should be OK.

I probably should have taken a screenie of the ammy I traded for on USWest Ladder which I gave away when I quit.

Something like 20ish Resist All + 20ish PDR. Needless to say, my Barbarian Liked it alot for his Nihlathak runs. Sorry I couldn't get a screenie. That Sorc Ammy is just awesome though;)

I have a 21 res all/19 dr ammy, a 3 lite 28 strength ammy and a 3 pcombat/03 life ammy.
I've been trying to shop a jewelers xxx of amicae for the past several days but haven't found anything close. It's oh so frustrating.
I gamble a lot of ammys, for those wondering :)

Some of the best items have to be taken in context so if you have a LLD type with good blues make sure to post the LVL REQ people. Those of us in the Know will get it, and for the others just mention what it trades for in items the meph unique farmers will recognize.

True and unlike the % PDR that is capped at 50%, Enough Flat PDR can negate 100% of physical damage and if it does the remaining PDR will be applied to elemental damage as well via a bug in the game.

ES sorc's love it as do Abbot (PDR/Max Prayer synergy) build Palidins, as LoverN and krischan showed and SOL runes are the way to go to add even more.

I bought it for about 40 pgems (part of a trade involving 80 of them). I wasn't sure if I offered too much, but now I think it was a good desl :azn:

For those who asked what it's good for: It's part of my CL/FO sorc's anti-tomb viper suit.

BTW, rare amulets cannot have more than 4 PDR.

My best is in a new post in the rares thread but it still does not make the 3 or 2 FPS BearSin thing you are talking about if I read you right? (1 socket so 5% off even shaeled for 3 FPS) Still nice for a normal DTalon kicker/trapper though.

Now this is for a low level caster dueler.

Dam I looked at that IMG and thought GBane LOL. So I got to know? SOLed GBane or 4 SOL Wire Fleece and if so was it blue before SOLing?
Edit: naw thats the unique image - got to be GBane

My Zoom Boots are Amber of Acceleration 39%LR and 40%FRW but only Chain base. Old Drop but a favorite on my low/mid levels.

Sad but the only problem with that wand is its Blue with +3 B&P skills - The white runeword sucked all the fun out of the best Blue P&B and Summon Wands, Now I only shop for the Curses. LOL - A good blue on the switch can save a lot of points though.
I think if wands with Curses could not be shopped you would see a lot less people doing UBERS. Charges of Life Tap or Amplify damage Wands must be probably the most shopped and bought item in the game - anyone want to post one with charges of both?
Now that would be impressive.

@krischan - Man I remember back before I quit in .09 I had found a perfect version of that same ammy in a cow run with my ES/Orb sorc =P I was sooo happy back then cause nothing hurt me. Too bad I quit and lost all my old chars/accounts, which in addition to my old desktop dying means I lost all my old screenies =(

Ah, the Fine prefix. Is that any good? I have never bothered with those, the bonuses just seem so tiny, even if you have a couple of them. If it were +50 max. damage and +500 AR, then they could be worth an inventory space for me...

I´ll take a (resist prefix) Small Charm of Vita instead.

The bonuses add up very quickly, the dmg and AR gets multiplied by skill eds so they're very nice on most any melee car that has a lot on skill based ed.

Jeweler's of stability with 4 40%ED 7FHR jewels. Only way it's possible. Quite an amazing armor for builds that doesn't need off-weapon IAS

It's the only way to get that much on a magical item, but the Stone runeword offers more fhr and more %def, as well as a lot of other interesting mods. Bramble and (to a lesser extent) Duress come close as well.

It has more style on a magical item, but I wouldn't say that it rocks enough to justify not wearing a runeword instead.

If you're playing SP and 100% legit/puritanical/non-muling or something, then shopping for that armor and then running for those jewels (not necessarily perfect ones) might be easier than obtaining the runes for bramble. The runes for stone should be much easier to get, but some play earlier patches where no such runeword exist, but these jewels and this armor does.

In 1.07 you could get anything between 1-4 sockets on a magical item from larzuk, meaning you could shop Godly Archon Plate of Stability and then get 4 sox from the quest. Pretty cool :prop:

In 1.07 you could get anything between 1-4 sockets on a magical item from larzuk, meaning you could shop Godly Archon Plate of Stability and then get 4 sox from the quest. Pretty cool :prop:

IIRC there were some insane damage charms too.

Shopping a godly archon of stability/whale/(whatever integer DR available) then getting 4 from larzuk would be crazy.
Even some lower lvl stuff would be sweet.

Ah, I see. Appreviations can be good, but also cause a lot of confusion.
(Also, the fact that I have never seen even a plain 40% Enhanced Damage jewel probably prevented my from thinking in that direction).

Indestructable because a zod was in there before the zod code was changed. It was then removed with the hel+tp recipe, leaving the socket open, but the sword still indestructible. This has since been fixed, but on NL there are a good number of items which were zodded before they changed the code.

one or two sockets from Larzuk, 50/50 chance. If it gets two, it isn't too bad. The problem with these items however, is that they aren't easy to trade. Not many people really want them. I'd still buy it though. :azn:

I made it into my Light sorcs huge MF runs (countess,pits,andy,summoner,meph,shenk/eldritch,nihl,pindle) to shop for nice items. After not to long, Larzuk gave me a jeweler's Full Plate Mail of the Whale (4os,+98 life, 152 def) not the best base item, but socketed with 2 perf, one 4/-5 and one 5/-4 Fire Facets It gave me an item like this:

Like Master Zap said, for LLD it's good, also pretty much any Bowazon should have her inventory packed with these. There is a potential suffix adding max dmg too bringing it up higher than 10, but these are very expensive. That charm is probably a pretty easy to trade away...

It's a 1.09 sword. Back then, the chippie recipe only worked on swords, and it always gave 3 sox if the sword could have it.

I will second Jesterlolz, to have a joolers PB of Quickness is SOOOO much cooler than, like my fire druid, wearing a Sup phase blade (+2 AR, +13% ED) socketed to get 110% IAS and 100ish AR, I mean, the yellowish sword is way cooler!

That was, I believe, BoooBooo, and lets just say he's not short on wealth in this game. I don't think most of his stuff was self found, but I may be mistaken.

I can throw out a fair amount of nice items, but very few of them were self found.

I'm mostly impressed by the fact that you found all those yourself.

Doppel, I can't tell you how much it is worth, but I can tell you that it's too bad it's in a coronet since the lvl req of the coronet itself is what brings the level req up. If it had been in a circlet it would only have had a lvl req of 27, thus making it a nice LLD item, I think...

Our rare thread is lacking that .01% of items that are incredibly, off the charts, godly. I'm talking about the 2/20/2 stats/life rare circs, 2/3/2/10 pelts, etc.

There's the occassional gem, but unfortunately, a decent percent of the items in there aren't anything but charsi worthy.

I'm Hoping this one lasts at least 1/2 as long since we have a LOT Less subject matter in terms of possible drops.
After reading a lot of it and posting some of my mostly **** items to it, I tried to point out some blues in it (as people had no good place to post them elsewhere) in a attempt to educate some people (Mostly a guy that wrote a really bad MF barb guide) that did not think Blues were Worth picking up (and had a lot of other bad ideas) to show how good they can be.
I was going to do something about that but could not decide if it was cool to do so without linking to the original posts and posters so I did nothing.
Thanks Helvete, I would never have got around to it.
A lot of my knowledge of that subject came from the blues posts in the rares thread.
Big Thanks To those that posted those originally, often to replies like "That's not Rare" but who knew it was better than any rare could be in it's own more limited way.
So I started this one and Thanks to you all for the posts - it's the biggest thing I've ever started on-line by far.

NICE - if those had max sockets 2-3 depending on type they would be worth big stuff and as is are solid.

It was a shop.

Although I don't know if I would have made a White out of it. If I were shopping for a White candidate, I think I'd be looking for PnB tree skills instead of Summon tree skills. But that's just me and I've never run a PnB Nec.

The thing I think is so cool about it is that it is a viable endgame wand that can be used starting at lvl 3. (Although with +3 Summoning Skills wands shopable at lvl45 there is really no reason to continue using it after that.)
