Will I be able to do the Ubers?

Alright, I'm going to try to solo the ubers for the first time soon, I will have a level 90 hdin with the following skills

Maxed BH
Maxed Vigor
Maxed Blessed Aim
Maxed Concentration
and 1 Point into
Conviction, Redemption, Smite, Holy Shield (And all the additional points I'm going to have, not quite to 90 yet), The mana recharging aura meditation I think, and I think thats it.

I'm using the following gear

Enigma
36 Hoto
Hoz
Aracnid
War Travs
2/2 Seraphs
BK and Natures Peace rings
Magefist

Mercs Gear
16 Med Insight
Andys Helm
Templars Guard

Also, Because of Meph's Conviction I have the following Gear to switch
Umed 60 res Kiras
Wispike 75 res
And am ISO of Griswalds Honor to put 3 p diamonds in for more resistances.

As far as stat poitns:

About 90 into Strength
50 Into Dex
15 Into Energy
200+ Into Vitality, everything else.

So basically, will I have a hard time with the ubers, or can I easily take them down with this gear? I heard something about a 1pt smiter, how would that work and should I do that? Letme know your thoughts, Thanks.

You won't be able to take the big ones, but you might be able to kill some of the lesser ubers.

You need: Crushing blow on switch, a source of Life Tap, something FAST to use as smite weapon, and a source of Open Wounds. Even then, you'd probably need much more life, and it would be wise to prebuff with treachery. You don't really need enigma for ubers.

I messed up, I meant salvation not confiction. Hmm so I need alot more stuff for the ubers yet, and I was off alot on the life, I have 300+ Already, can you guys tell me more about smite? Should I just get a grief and use that skill on the ubers?

That sounds cheap enough for me to get, so I just stand in the fire until fade activates to raise my resistances more? Also, Should I try and get a CTA or something with BO to raise my life and mana before I go in, would that help me?

Regarding smite, you are correct. But you NEED open wounds and life tap at the very least. Crushing blow will speed up the killing a lot too.

Alright, What weapon has open wounds and would be a good one, cost is really not an issue so I've heard that grief works well, is this true. And about lifetap, whats a sorce of this besides a wand with charges? I think that drac gloves have natural chance to cast life tap right? Otherwise should I look for a wand? Thanks for all the help, just give me a gear list to get, currently I need:

Life tap wands will do fine. Crushing blow is much more important than open wounds. Crushing blow is your main source of damage, in fact. Black is a good runeword for this, for IAS and CB and cheapness. I always like using the rising sun ammy, it will make the pit lords and environmental fire heal you, and make you invincible to Diablo.

If using grief, then OW is more important than CB. OW is what stops the insane life regen the ubers have. Grief smiters pack quite a lot of damage already. Even with 100% CB, killing any uber would be quite hard with no OW.

OW is found on dracs gloves, together with str and life tap, so I'd use those, grief, and possibly a duress armor. Prebuffing with treachery, then CtA (or friendly barb, which is MUCH better) and using Holy Shield is essential to solo the ubers with a smiting hammerdin.

Ok, thanks for the help so far, I don't really want to get a grief at this time as I'm somewhat poor with my for trade items. Basically I need to:

Switch Magefist for Dracs
Should I switch my ammy to the rising sun?
Make a barb with a hi level or BO, and any other skills while I'm at it? What build would you recommend?

Will my Natures Peace work on the Ubers? I've heard conflicting things about it and would like to know.
Duress armor seems cheap enough, so I switch my enigma to treachery, prebuff, then switch to duress and kill them with that?

And I do have holy shield, It will be about at level 20(with equipment) when I decide to go for the ubers (at lvl 90)

Should I also still switch out my Hoto for the black runeword?
Also, I have a 60 res Kira, should I switch out my umed shako for it when dealing with mephisto, and I'm trying to get a better one that I will socket with an um when I can afford one.

Believe me, you'll sweat the first time.

HotO won't do any good when smiting. Switching it for black, grief, stormlash, heaven's light, etc will be much better.

As for helm, I'd take the kira's when dealing with meph. Against the others, I'd go for Guillaume's Face for the massive CB.

Alright, you listed quite a few weapons, which one is the cheapest that still works well? Is it black, because that looks cheap, will it get the job done?

As for the set item, that should also be somewhat cheap right? So far my need list is

Treachery
Duress
Vamp Gloves
Black
Gull's Face

I think thats everything I have to switch out, thanks for the help so far, also should I switch my ammy to the rising sun?
