You will basically be carrying it just for the fanaticism so put it in whatever you have the str/dex to carry.

i use Arm of King Leoric / Spirit to summons and Beast / Homunculus when fighting, right?

I would use Beast/Homo and CTA/Spirit on switch but that's just my opinion.
