edge runeword

Hi everyone,

I have a summon necro and wanna know if there is a 3 socked throw wepon (one hand) to do a edge runeword? I wanna use the other hand to hold a good shield (homunculus)...

im not really familiar with the edge runeword, but throw weps like javs/axes cant be socketed.

The only socketable missile weapons are bows and crossbows, both of which are two-handed.

yup, if you were lookin for the thorns aura you'll either be stuck with the bow, or you could use a bramble.

Also, it has no increased Attack Rating, and the Necro has no skills that will help it with Attack Rating. So by mid-late Nightmare you'll be seeing your chance to hit drop below 50%.

On the other hand, in the hands of a merc, it hits fine.

But anyway, the _main_ point of the Edge runeword is the Thorns, which when combined with Amplify Damage and Minions is obscene. What a shame necros don't have either of those. Oh wait, what is that? ... I'm informed that necros do in fact have both Amplify Damage and a wide assortment of minions. Oh dear. Oh the funky horror.

Hi everyone,

I did the edge runeword (level 15 thorns aura, that back the damage x 800%)on a bow and a kill more fast the monsters with the bow than homunculus + +2 skill wand.... its a nice runeword... but i wanna do it on a one hand wepon...

Edge is a missle weapon runeword so you can only do it in bows/xbows, so no onehanded weapons :(
