About socketing

If I socket quest a white 15ed mage plate, how many do i get? How about cubing? I need 3 sockets for an enigma.

It will get 3 sockets from Larzuk. If you cube it, the chance for 3 sockets will be 4 in 6 (and 1 in 6 for 1 respectively 2 sockets).

That mage plate is worth a lot. Use the socket quest reward !

for some items it depends on its ilvl (lvl of the monster that dropped it), 1-24 < 24-39 < 40+

for items with ed, def=(+def mods) + int((max base+1)*(100%+ed%))
262*1.14=298
262*1.15=301
the varible on the enigma def (+750-775) is much more than the 3def diff, but some people want the best

ed actually makes it more expensive to repair
some dont mind cuz a ral in the cube can be used to repair it for alot less

No stantheman, and also, it is superior so you cannot cube socket it.
