AFAIK Increase Max Life/mana for an item is calculated as follows:
For example Enigma - Increase max life by 5%
I take this to mean, increase maximum "base" life by 5% with base life (Paladin) = base + 3*quest + 2*level + 3*Vitality
So for my lvl 91 Paladin
Vitality = 487
5% Max life = (55+60+180+3*482)*0.05 = 87 Life
Final life with Engima bonus = 55+60+180+3*482+87 = 1828
Let me know if this is not correct, as it could affect my next question regarding Battle orders.
Battle Orders
From what I have read, any life/mana/stamina bonuses that do not vary with the level of the character are BO-able (static values). But taking this into account still does not give numbers that match up to the Life/mana/stamina values displayed on the Character screen.
For Example:
Paladin lvl 91
VIT (w/ item bonuses & spent stats) = 482
Life = Base + Quest + 2*Level + 3*VIT = 55+60+180+1446 = 1741
Life Static (Charms, items) = 0
Life Non-static = Shako (1.5 Life/Lvl) 137 + Enigma (+5% Max Life) 87 = 224
So, Bo-able life = 1741
I have a 6BO CTA and +11 All skills (including +1 from CTA) and +12 All skills including Battle Command which gives level 18 Battle Order. All of the tables I have seen state that a level 18 BO = 86% increase in Life/Mana/Stamina.
My calculated BO-ed Life = 1741 * 1.86 = 3238 **Note this does not include the +5% Max from Enigma
My character screen/Life Orb display 3108, which I assume DOES include the +5% Max Life from Enigma
This leaves a difference of 217 Life (130 BO difference and 87 from Enigma)
So, is the character screen incorrect, or am I making a mistake in my calculation method?
Thanks,
Zack
