So... I made a new barb yesterday

My first barb that I made when I came back was a IK WW barb. I've been very happy with him and why I rolled another is beyond me other then the fact that I had the gear and swords are sexy.

I was all set. I had made a eBotd cb, but wasn't available to me until level 69. I was happy with my sword choice since I had used one about 3 years ago, but 3 years ago things were different.

As I was leveling I got antsy to start killing and I read that grief in a Zweihander was GG and I happen to have a Lo that I got from a recent trade, so I dug out the Zweihander that I had been saving and rolled one. Turned out better then my pallys grief >< 35/393. I only intended to use it until I got to 69 to use my other sword and then sell the grief, but what I found out later is the grief was so much better than the more costly of the 2 swords.

It might be that I'm only level 76 and my chance to hit is lower in hell, and can't kill as fast with the eBotd cb without using battle cry. Now admittedly my charms are crap and my AR is only like 6500 but the grief with its lower stat requirements and ITD, just seems to kill my old favorite weapon.

So.. I guess my question is. What would you guys do about these two swords?

Well, you could always dual them and if AR is a problem, just get Angelic combo?

Grief Zwei are probably the best sword overall for WWs provided you have some good ML somewhere else.

ya, I put in enough stats to dual weild them but then I'm missing my shield and for most situations thats fine. He is quite the little blender with this setup.

But... I really don't think I need both of these weapons, just seems silly to me when I could use the resources to build a different toy ;)

I'll probably sell the eBotd cb, unless someone can state reasons to keep it over the grief.

You could just sell it, I think that 2H Grief is better than dualling swords... if you had Zerkers, on the other hand, I'd keep two.

Anyhow, you could either sell it or give away to moi. :D

grief is more pvp based then pvm it breaksto fast in pvm and gets anoying plus botd is a bit faster and gives u nice 30 stat boost and looks cooler :jig:

yeah.. dura kinda sux but it's managable. I hit 80 last night and tried the CB again, I'm hitting better but still not to the killing speed of the grief 1h.

dude why bother with grief a high level barb with decent attack rate can hit almost anything without to much trouble the ITD just isent worth it to replace botd cb with grief and u wont kill that much faster with grief but i heard that grief works verry wel with berserk skill and pvp uses but for ww and pvm stick with botd man
